*Cement board will ensure that you have a more than adequate subfloor for your new tile installation.  Cement board will not become as weakened with moisture as does a regular plywood.

**Tech XT grout is mold and mildew resistant for increased strength and resistance to the elements.  It is similar to having a grout sealer mixed throughout all of the grout, as opposed to only painted on the surface.
